Film, movement, nature, and inner inquiry — lived on the road.
I grew up in the forests of Norway, where nature, movement, and silence shaped how I see the world. The body came before language.
I later studied Sport Science with a focus on coaching, training, and psychology, followed by pedagogy and psychosocial work with children and youth. I have worked in schools, with behavioral challenges and autism, as a football coach, and with unaccompanied minor asylum seekers.
Street Nomad Indie began as a creative impulse and became a way of living. In 2021, I built my first campervan and started exploring simplicity and freedom. Time in Lofoten was followed by travels through Japan, Taiwan, Australia, Sri Lanka, and India — writing, filming, practicing, observing.
For the past two years, I have lived on the road in my second van, Helmer, without a fixed home. Working in periods, developing film projects, and deepening inner practice. I regularly return to community spaces such as Angsbacka and completed a Vipassana retreat in October 2025. I am currently studying Zen Coaching — a practice of direct inquiry into awareness and experience — which informs how I listen, reflect, and create.
Street Nomad Indie is an ongoing inquiry into honesty, identity, and what it means to live more truthfully.
Selected film projects coming soon.
